Tesco to Offer the Cheapest Over the Counter Viagra
A popular British supermarket named Tesco will start offering the erectile dysfunction medication Viagra at extremely competitive prices. The only other competing pharmacy in the UK selling Viagra is BOOTS. The price difference is almost 50% of savings. Boots pharmacy currently sells 4 pills of Viagra for £55, Tesco will come to the market by selling 8 pills for £52, more than half the cost.
The supermarket will be selling Viagra over the counter, but it has certain limitations men must follow. They have to be between the ages of 40 and 65 to qualify; they also must bring along a recent health check that the Tescos's trained pharmacists will review. That's not all, the pharmacists will also be instructed to give each customer a blood pressure exam, cholesterol and diabetes check
EDGuider Blog: Boots pharmacy might offer Viagra to men directly This provides a true alternative for men who do not have a current prescription for Viagra. Visiting a doctor is always the best choice, but if British men pass the Tesco's blood, cholesterol and diabetes exams, they will be able to purchase Viagra right on the spot without waiting or paying for a prescription. Mrs. Scott, a spokesman for Tesco confirms that their prices will be the lowest: "Tesco will be the cheapest service in the country for those who don't have a private prescription"
Will this be a discreet process for men? The most alarming questions that come to mind for all men would be discretion? Will men requesting this service have to follow the procedures in front of other clients that are waiting to fill other prescriptions? No, the process can be discreet if requested by the client. Tesco will allow them to follow the steps it takes to get the meds in a discreet consulting area, very similar to the one boots provides. Tesco might have followed in the footsteps of both Boots and Lloyd's pharmacy. When they started offering the same service as Tesco is about to offer, hundreds of men traveled from around the country to buy Viagra directly from the pharmacists. Now with cheaper prices, men will have another option to compare. EDGuider blog: Boots and Lloyds are offering fast and safe access to health care
