Consumers warned on the dangers of dietary supplement Stiff Nights
Another dietary supplement called “Stiff Nights” has been put into question after the Food and Drug administration has warned consumers about its potential dangers. This product is sold as a dietary supplement in nutrition stores and online. The FDA warns that it contains a potential dangerous drug called sulfoaildenafil which is very similar to sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra. The product Stiff Nights was put under the microscope following a complaint and according to the findings it did indeed contain sulfoaildenafil which can be dangerous and interact with other prescription drugs such as nitroglycerin and nitrates. This can be risky for men and produce low blood pressure.
The product is marked as a dietary supplement which makes consumers believe it is safe to take and that it does not pose a potential risk to their health. Consumers who have purchased this supplement should avoid taking it because it can pose a health risk. This is not the first recall of a dietary supplement that contained an active ingredient known in most common erectile dysfunction medications. During the past year two other related products have been recalled by the FDA. Stamina Rx was recalled due to containing an unapproved drug called Benzamidenafil and libipower was recalled back in July of 2009 for containing Tadalafil which is the active ingredient found in Cialis .
