Levitra – When Erectile Dysfunction is coupled with Hypertension

One of the common accompanying conditions with men suffering from erectile dysfunction is high blood pressure. In today's time and age, it is not unnatural for men to suffer from hypertension even at a relatively young age. So when the man is taking some form of medications for the management of high blood pressure, he would normally fall in a dilemma as how he can simultaneously be treated for erectile dysfunction. While hypertension is affecting is professional life, erectile dysfunction could put his personal life in big problems.

This is nothing but double jeopardy. According to Journal of Sexual Medicine, it has been reported that the chemical ingredient Vardenafil HCl is effective in the treatment of erectile dysfunction for men who are under simultaneous treatment for high blood pressure. Vardenafil HCl is the ingredient of the wonder drug called Levitra. Thus Levitra has brought fresh hope to men who are suffering from high blood pressure as well as erectile dysfunction, as the drug can effectively treat ED despite the underlying condition of high BP.

It is a fact that men who are on drug therapy for their high blood pressure often worry whether the side effects of their hypertension drugs would have any adverse effect on their sexual performance. Today physicians are comfortably treating hypertension and prescribing Levitra simultaneously to take care of their erection problems. In fact, Levitra has also displayed its efficacy in treating ED of men who are suffering from yet another chronic illness – diabetes. It has proved effective even in such patients and today even diabetic men suffering from the usual ED problems can now have a happy sex life, thanks to Levitra.

Levitra a drug essentially meant to treat ED, does not lose its efficacy even when the user is on ACE inhibitors. Concomitant use of several hypertensive drugs has not made any impact on the efficacy of Levitra. These hypertensive drugs include calcium channel blockers, beta-blockers, and diuretics. During the several clinical studies done with Levitra, it has been seen that patients who were on Levitra showed no clinically or statistically significant differences in their ECG readings, systolic and diastolic BP readings as well as their heart conditions. Headaches and flushing were the only two mild side effects experienced by the concerned subjects.

A product of a reputed research and knowledge-based pharmaceutical company called Glaxo Smith Kline, few other salient features of Levitra include:
•    Stronger effect with smaller dose.
•    Unaffected by food or alcohol before intake of drug.
•    Works in conditions where drugs of similar genre have failed to yield results.
•    Works equally well with patients who are suffering from diabetes Type 1 or 2 along with hypertension.

It must be remembered that erectile dysfunction could be a natural outcome of a patient suffering from diabetes and hypertension or both, since erection is a function which involve heart, hormones, blood and the brain. So if you have not got any positive results from other similar drugs and suffer from these ailments, it is time you tried Levitra, a friend for sure, especially under these circumstances.
