Alert issued on anti-impotence drug from Hong Kong
Vegetal Vigra, not to be confused with Viagra, contains the un-registered ingredients Sildenafil and tadalafil. These two ingredients can cause serious side effects. They can cause serious problems for men taking nitrates, which are in certain prescriptions like nitroglycerin.
These prescriptions are for the treatment of angina, and can cause a serious drop in blood pressure. The improper use of vegetal vigra can have serious consequences health wise, especially people with heart issues.
According to an article posted in a health and community site from Hong Kong , this anti-impotence drug was recently found on an Internet auction website, which is not a registered treatment. Any product containing these ingredients must be registered with the department of health and be prescribed by a doctor and be under the supervision of pharmacists. These ingredients are used in other erectile dysfunction drugs but in quantities not tested by the health department. The side effects include transient vision disturbances, headache, causing dangerously low blood pressure, and vomiting. The health department strongly recommends not buying or using vegetal vigra. |
