Sulfoaildenafil found in Prolatis, a recall has been issued.

More and more recalls are being issued on dietary supplements that are aimed at treating erectile dysfunction. Both Canada and the US are finding these products to contain ingredients that are similar to sildenafil, tadalafil or vardenafil. All three used in popular ED meds such as Viagra, Levitra and Cialis.

This time the product Prolatis has been put on the recall list. Last week Prolatis issued a voluntary nationwide recall of their brand name product Prolatis. This comes just after they received a notice from the FDA saying they found sulfoaildenafil in the dietary supplement, which is similar to the ingredient Viagra has. This means it does not fall under the category of “dietary supplement”.

This product was widely available across the US and some reports have said it was even available at the CVS.com online pharmacy. Prolatis was commonly seen at popular health and nutrition stores, even at GNC.

The product came in a box that contained 40 pills. The markings and labels indicated it was an all natural herbal nutritional supplement that offers a man sexual enhancement and stronger erections. Some of the ingredients listed on the supplement facts included: golden spear grass, cinnamons extract, zx3 nitric oxide booster, super greens power blend, L-Arginine, ginger root, alfalfa and entomgenous mushroom complex.

Their website even states it does not need to be used daily, only when needed. Most dietary products such as these follow a treatment plan of several weeks, such as zenerx
