Hydroxythiohomosildenafil Laced Magic Coffee gets another warning
In June of 2010 the FDA issued a recall on Magic Power Coffee a product that was labeled as a dietary supplement, but as many others, it was found to contain an analogue of sildenafil citrate. Magic Power Coffee was shown to contain Hydroxythiohomosildenafil, it works in a similar fashion to Viagra, by increasing blood flow and assisting men in getting an erection.
Hydroxythiohomosildenafil is not very common but is considered a prescription medication, so it cannot be labeled as a "dietary supplement". Apparently the product is still on the market. By visiting the official website (www.magicpowercoffeehome.com), there is no notice or warning about its current situation. Some websites promoting the coffee have "Magic Power Coffee Club - 100% Natural Sex Enhancement Product To Spice Up Your Love Life" displayed in the title.
The FDA informed the makers of Magic Power Coffee that they now had 15 days to change the formula of their product and alter the marketing campaign for it. If they fail to comply, they will need to remove the coffee for shelves within 15 days.

The FDA states that this product violates sections 402 (a) and (c) of their cosmetic act. It cannot be considered as food because the coffee is not sold for its smell, taste and nutrition, but for the sexual enhancement it promotes.
