Revivexxx has been recalled by the FDA

Another dietary supplement we can add to the long list of recent recalls for male enhancers. Last month there were a total of 2 similar products recalled. On August 9th a recall was issued for the product Revivexxx Extra Strength, a product labeled as an all natural male enhancer that has non-hormonal effects.

Revivexxx was mostly marketed to males with erectile dysfunction. However, the FDA evaluated the product and found it contained the active ingredient the ED medication Cialis has, Tadalafil. Revivexxx was said to be an “all natural” male enhancer, but Tadalafil is a PDE-5 inhibitor, an ingredient only used in the ED medication Cialis and is not approved for use in Revivexxx.

Revivexxx can interact with other medications and cause side effects

The main concern officials have when products such as these are found, is when they contain an active ingredient such as Tadalafil or Sildenafil. Both can cause an interaction with other medications, they can also produce side effects. Since customers of this product are unaware it contains Tadalafil, they are also clueless to the dangerous it can have if they are taking other medications such as nitrates or nitroglycerin. It may also cause blood pressure to drop and cause several side effects including, headaches, flu like symptoms or hazy vision.

If you have bought this product online or in a natural health store, the FDA is urging consumers to return it as soon as possible and request a refund.
