North Drugstore Complaint and Removal

A bad review from a former customer of NorthDrugstore.com has been left in the ED pharmacies section and removed from the edguider.com ED pharmacies section. Please note the review below:

A year ago I paid $251 to North Drugstore of Thornhill, Ontario, to send me blood pressure pills. Two months later after several assurances they were on their way I cancelled the order and was promised a refund. When a month later I asked why no refund I was told they mailed the drugs. I sent them proof from UPS that showed that North had created a tracking number with UPS but no package was ever sent. Again I got assurances of a refund. A year later, nothing.They claim to be an ethical , reliable firm vetted by Pharmacy Checker. Bah

They took our money as well. Nearly $250 was stolen. If you read these posts and still want to order from North Drugstore, please read the following. Just send me half of the money and for the next 3-6 months, I will tell you that your prescription is on the way. If you can't pay half, pay what you can, and I will still tell you that your prescription is on its way. That is no different from most complaints I have read about this company. The best part is I will do it at a fraction of their cost. I really hope you don't order from this company.

North Drugstore (aka - Pharmacy RX World) ripped me of this year (2011)!

It seems they have been at this for a number of years now based on all the complaints people are posting on the Internetsince 2008... and their long time "F" rating with the Winnepeg Better Business Bureau (BBB).

North Drugstore (aka - Pharmacy RX World) took my money for my necessary Parkinson's Disease medication and had me email them a copy of the prescription from my doctor. After a week of asking for a tracking number they finally gave me one, but it was (and still is) a fake tracking number. There is no record of this number and every time I called them they would say it is the US Postal Service's fault and not their problem. I explain that I have spoken to the US Postal Service on many occassions and that the USPS is stating the tracking number is not valid, but each time North Drugstore (aka - Pharmacy RX World) is adamant that they are right and the US Postal Service is wrong.

When I asked for my money back 16 days after not receving my order they told me I had to wait 21 days until they would offer a refund. I called my bank and got my money back by filing a claim and now the bank is going after North Drugstore (aka - Pharmacy RX World).

Also, now the telephone nubmer for North Drugstore does not work so I call the number for Pharmacy RX World. At first they tried to lie to me and claim there was no relationship between the two comanies, but when I told them they share the same PO Box address and the same "international" companies they hung up the phone.

Also, I called Pharmacy RX World back and said I wanted to check on an order. I gave them my name and the order number with North Drugstore and they immediately told me everything about my order... including repeating the fake tracking number. When I asked how Pharmacy RX Worl knew my order information with North Drugstore the person hung up the phone.

I then called back and pretended to be a new customer. I said I wanted to FedEx a check to them over-night so I needed a physical address. The person first tried to claim the address on both these companies' web sites is their physical address, but when I told him I knew it was a post office box he refused to give a physical address. He said the only way I can mail a check to them is to use their PO Box address as they will not give out their physical address.

Based on all the lies they have told me and the fact my order NEVER arrived I personally believe North Drugstore (aka - Pharmacy RX World) are crooks.

I reported them to the Winnepeg police, the Winnepeg BBB, the regulatory agencies for this type of business, and I even called the local news station in Winnepeg. Hopefully these entities can put a stop tho these two companies many years of what appears to be crime.

In closing, based on my experience with North Drugstore (aka - Pharmacy RX World) I believe they are scams who are preying on individuals with life threatenting issues. Companies like this and the people they employ should be arrested.
