    Default Greetings from Greece!

    Hello everybody!
i am 36 years old and i've been fighting ED for the last 15 years or more since the beginning of my sexual activity,a little bit late i guess, around the age of 20.
The problem is the performance anxiety i guess which i never managed to deal with completely
Even when i used levitra in the past or Cialis at the moment i can have intercourse about let's say half of the times and when i think that finally i will overcome the problem it happens again!
The good thing is that no matter what we all think, most of the times we men get more frustrated than our partners about this issue. What i mean is that at least in 3 relationships i was the one who ended it,the girls didn't seem to care that much, because somehow i was tired trying,i mean sometimes i could have intercourse but some others i didn't.
i am as a person very anxious about almost anything in my life, for some periods i get antidepressants(efexxor),i also had sessions of cognitive psychotherapy which helped a lot in many aspects of my life, such as anxiety and stress about job etc.,but i am not sure if it helps regarding sex problems.
And of course i have to deal with the vicious circle that it is created because of the problem(the fear of not getting an erection makes me lose my interest in sex and reduces my libido etc).Someone might think that it may be due to antidepressants, but as i said i don't take them for long periods and i have not seen any difference when i stop taking them.
In any case, the important thing is that i keep on trying and never give up,although sometimes i refrain from sex for long periods,it is certain that avoiding sex makes the problem even worse!
The other thing is that i'd really like sometime in the future not to really on viagra, cialis, etc. This site and forum is absolutely very interesting, but i see people here being somehow ED drugs-addicted,i've read posts from some people here for example that they take cialis, oral phentolamine,prelox,anti-anxiety drugs etc at the same time! This is completely rediculous!Even if these drugs are FDA approved or whatever, noone can assure you for sure that there will be no side effects in the long run and be harmful for your health!Well,if some people here think that getting an erection by taking 5 pills at the same time is better for them than their long-term health,i cannot persuade them otherwise,it's their problem!
Anyway,it was very nice finding this site, looking forward to hear your experiences!

    HI Yanni,

Thanks for coming to the forum and sharing your experience. I can tell you from my own that performance anxiety is becoming more and more common. I was and still am in the same boat as you. Have been having ED problems since I was 19 and not due to health issues but anxiety. I was scared I could not get an erection and that my partner would laugh at me, tell her friends, you name it I thought of it.

While I still rely on Cials, I try different methods not to but always fail. It is the only thing that lets me have intercourse 7 out of 10 times. Sometimes my PA is so strong I will even loose my erection while on Cialis.

Yes, allot of guys in this forum rely on several ED meds such as prelox and cialis. I personally have never tried a mix like this and do not want to for the same reason, depending on 2 ED meds must be hard.

Once again, thanks for joining the forum and I hope we can continue to share experiences.

    Welcome to the forum, Yannis!

Sexual performance anxiety is extremely common but it is treatable. Don't expect immediate results, though: time and patience are essential.

I suggest you talk to your doctor (urologist). As you mentioned, there are several options mentioned on these forums but everyone is different and only your doctor can say what's best for you.

I started with a lot of drugs (under the supervision of a doctor) but now I only take Cialis and Vigamed on demand and that's more than enough for a great performance.

All drugs mentioned on these forums are approved and considered safe but side effects are always possible. Always consult your doctor before you decide to start any kind of treatment.
