This will sound ironic, but I'm a pharmacist, and work at a clinic that has a patient assistance program. When a patient drops out, or no longer qualifies, all their Viagra gets put in a bin. We use these to help new patients get a head start on the game, since it usually takes 6 to 8 weeks for theirs to come in. I've been married for almost 30 years. Been on anti-depressants (SRI's & SSRI's) for 20 plus years. A major side effect of these, is the inability to come to orgasm. Physician tried everything to changing my med to trying a 'drug holiday'..nothing ever worked. Spent a lot of years jerking off..Make a long story short..even having access to brand name viagra, and I can't even think myself into an erection. Maybe an implant, with the pump in my scrotum. Can't stand the thought of the injection or urethral inserts. I'm just glad I have a wife that is patient, and loving. Good to read the comments on the site.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I am new to this forum, but not to ED. I have been taking brand and generic viagra for about 5 years. Recently put on Celexa(anti depressant) for anxiety. I heard that this drug can affect sex drive and/or erection quality. I continued to take the viagra with the Celexa and the erection quality is still good. A side benefit is I can last as long as I want, but sometimes cannot ejaculate at all. Good for my wife that I can last long enough on a consistent basis, but very frustrating for me sometimes.
