New and need Advice (performance anxiety)
Hi all,
Well first off how are you all?? Ive been surfing this forum for a while and have decided to join.
My issue with ED is mental. I get the whole performance anxiety thing happening but only when im with someone new. After say the first few weeks, I begin to relax and im back to normal. I never used to have this problem when I was younger, its only been since I separated from the wife 9 months ago.
I have also noticed since the separation that my sex drive has dropped dramatically! I used to be a randy little bugger but now pretty much nothing!!
Any advice on how to avoid the initial embarrassment??? meds or mental help??
Also I am taking ViaDrene Plus once a day for the lack of sex drive and I must say I have definitely notice an increase in sex drive. Is there any other/better products you guys can suggest??
Also its worth noting, Im 29 and I do have general anxiety issues also.
Thanks for your time!

ViaDrene Plus, hmmmm never heard of it
Hi Frus,
ViaDrene Plus, hmmmm never heard of it. Sounds herbal? What else have you tried? Have you ever been on medications such as Cialis Levitra or Viagra? There are several of us in this forum that have performance anxiety. The EDGuider team just did 2 posts on the topic, you might want to check it out:

Both of them talk about performance anxiety. Let me know what you think?

You said your erection problems only happen with your new girlfriend and this seems to indicate that your condition is purely psychological. Nevertheless, you should go see a urologist. My problem was very similar to yours (coital anxiety) and a visit to my urologist made all the difference in the world.
You also said you're an anxious person and anxiety is a major cause of ED. There are, however, simple ways to overcome this problem. Regular exercise and a warm shower before sex can do wonders. I used to take a natural supplement called SEREDYN just before sex and it was excellent but I don't need it anymore.
Vigamed (oral phentolamine) is an approved ED med in several countries and it was very effective in my case. Because it blocks sympathetic action in the penis, I believe it is a good solution for sexual performance anxiety. Vigamed is far from perfect, though. Not everyone responds to this treatment, it does not improve libido and side effects may be unpleasant (hypotension, headaches, etc). Again, consult your urologist first.
Try not to worry. Performance anxiety is extremely common and easily treatable. If I could beat this crap, anyone can.
