Valerian for performance anxiety
Although I've suffered my whole life from sexual performance anxiety, it has recently become acute and had a severe impact on my marriage. I got a prescription for Cialis (although I also tried Viagra), and I experienced some mixed results. On three separate weekend getaways, I had difficulties with the first sexual encounter of the weekend. *After* that first encounter, my performance was fine and even reached pornographic proportions for at least five or six additional encounters EACH WEEKEND. But those first encounters continued to bother me, so I researched the "anxiety" portion of the performance anxiety. Turns out that valerian seems to be commonly mentioned as a treatment for anxiety, but with no side effects.
For the last two weeks, I've been taking valerian daily, and with cialis before sex. And each time, my anxiety level was considerably lower. AND, all encounters were successful and enjoyable. In fact, I recently had some great anxiety-free morning sex without using the cialis! Just wanted to share this experience.
Also, a couple of other things I noticed. Taking cialis on an empty stomach and abstaining from alcohol did not help anything. In fact, the cialis seemed less effective in each case. On each occasion over the last two weeks, I took cialis several hours before sex, enjoyed a nice dinner with my wife, and drank a bottle of wine. And in each case, I had some of the hardest erections I can remember since I was a teenager. Also something I wanted to share.

Great post, thanks for posting this Cannox.
Yes, you're absolutely right: valerian is perfectly safe and may be a good solution for cases of sexual performance anxiety.
You may want to try SEREDYN instead. SEREDYN is a natural supplement for the treatment of anxiety that contains valerian, L-theanine and passion flower. You can take it daily or as needed.

Yes, it's possible. Some EDG users have had a similar experience.

hi guys
is it safe to take SEREDYN and cialis? would the drowsy effects of cialis not be increased and increase the chances of hypotension?
i take cialis at present but no herbal treatment for performance anxiety

I just recently started a post about maca for anxiety, I find it quite helpful, more so than valerian or theanine though nothing is wrong with either one, I would suggest giving this a try for performance and general anxiety issues.

Yes, the combination Cialis + Seredyn may increase the risks of hypotension.
I suggest you consult your urologist first and start with small doses. Try these pills before masturbation and see if you can tolerate them well. If you can, then take them according to your doctor's recommendations.

Hi
I definetly suffer from anxiety related ed and always have. I have not had great success with Viagra, cialis or levitra, even taking 250mg doses of V, my anxiety still wins out regularly.
I am very interested in treatments that either give you an erection whether you want one or not (i.e. injections or gels) or someway of preventing or reducing the anxiety related effect.
I am in the UK and wondered if valerian is a herbal remedy or prescription remedy and if someone can recommend a UK source that has been tried.
