    Default Viagra and sildenafil citrate

I don't understand? Is this the same medication or different, is one generic and the other brand? I know that viagra is made by pfizer but can some tell me what sildenafil citrate means, I see it all over the place but am not sure what it is.

    Thanks

    Default Viagra Niagra

    MisterP:

Sildenafil citrate is the main compound in Viagra and the actual name "Viagra" is Pfizer's trademark name they gave their erectile dysfunction medication. Some people say the name originated from Niagra, but I am not sure.
