Default SEREDYN: first impressions + more tips

I finally got my SEREDYN order this week and yesterday I tried it two hours before sex.

I don't want to get too carried away (like I did with the oxytocin nasal spray, which turned out to be useless) but sex was great and SEREDYN may have helped a bit.

SEREDYN is not an ED treatment, it is an anti-anxiety natural supplement. It contains valerian, L-theanine and passion flower. L-theanine is the big star ingredient: according to experts, it effectively promotes relaxation and increases dopamine (the 'love hormone' that generates libido and erections) and GABA levels. It may also decrease serotonin levels (which would be a great thing, serotonin kills libido) but opinions vary.

Each pill contains 150 mg of suntheanine (you won't find this on the label, this information was given to me by the excellent Seredyn Customer Service), a patented formula and the most effective form of L-theanine.

SEREDYN works. It's not as effective as Xanax and other chemical anxyolitics but it has none of their side effects (e.g. erectile dysfunction, loss of libido) either. The effect is subtle but it's definitely there. I felt calm, relaxed and, most importantly, it didn't make me feel drugged (unlike the oxytocin nasal spray, which isn't even indicated for the treatment of anxiety!).

I also took CIALIS 20 mg and VIGAMED. This time, I took two VIGAMED pills (80 mg phentolamine) instead of just one, but this was a mistake: SEREDYN, CIALIS and VIGAMED all lower blood pressure and after sex I felt a bit dizzy (nothing too serious, though). Next time, I'll take the prescribed dose: only one VIGAMED pill. Everything else was perfect: I was already super hard even before we started, which really impressed my date ('wow you're all fired up already', she said ).

But it wasn't just the meds, I also tried some techniques and tricks to beat my anxiety. Here's what I did (sorry if this is a bit graphic):

    - I told the girl to put the condom for me.

    - I also told her to go on top, so she would have all the 'hard work'.

    - When the time to penetrate came, I also kissed and caressed her so that I wouldn't focus too much on penetration.

    - Talking. In my case, talking a lot during sex helps. It keeps my mind away from negative thoughts. Last night, we were constantly saying silly stuff and laughing and this relieved some of the tension.

It's been a couple of weeks since I started taking SEREDYN and I'm happy with the results. I take one pill (= L-theanine 150 mg) everyday and two pills two hours before sex (I think I'll change that to 3 pills before sex = L-theanine 450 mg).

I feel happy, more relaxed, more confident. My libido is also amazing, better than it's ever been in the last year (a very stressful period in my life, on a personal level): I feel like having sex all the time!

Is this the result of L-theanine (it raises dopamine and GABA levels, which may improve sexual performance) or is it just a placebo? I honestly don't think this is just a placebo, but the mind is a complex thing and can play tricks on us.

I think it's time for an update on SEREDYN.

SEREDYN is not an ED drug, it is a natural supplement for the treatment of anxiety. But if anxiety is getting in the way of your sex life, SEREDYN could be an excellent solution. SEREDYN is a natural product (it contains valerian, L-theanine and passion flower) and, unlike most anxiolytics, it has no sexual side effects.

I've been taking SEREDYN for over a month and I'm very happy with the results. Ever since I started taking it, I've had several sexual experiences and they were all sucessful. I take SEREDYN one hour before sex and it makes me feel extremely calm. I don't feel tired or sedated at all.

I only have two minor complaints:

    a) I also take VIGAMED (oral phentolamine) and both products can lower blood pressure, so I sometimes feel a bit dizzy after sex. Too much of a good thing...

    b) SEREDYN decreases sympathetic activity, so it could delay ejaculation a bit. It doesn't affect the rigidity of erections or the intensity of your orgasm, though.

Anyway, these are minor complaints. SEREDYN was a great find and I don't intend to stop. Always consult your doctor before you decide to take SEREDYN or any other natural supplement.

Have you had sex without the VIGAMED while on it? I assume by taking them together, you're not only killing the ability of adrenaline ruining your erection, but helping prevent any adrenal response at all. I'm just wondering if I went on SEREDYN alone if it would not be as effective.

So far, it seems VIGAMED is the magical stuff I need -- just not quite affordable right now.

I'm not a doctor but I'd try SEREDYN first. It's a 100% natural product, you don't even need a prescription and side effects are minimal or nonexistent. If it works, great. VIGAMED, on the other hand, may have unpleasant side effects: headaches, hypotension, nausea.

As far as I know, SEREDYN is not an alpha blocker, it works directly on your brain and improves your levels of dopamine (the 'love hormone').
