    Default What is propionyl-L-carnitine?

Does anyone know what propionyl-L-carnitine is? I read the latest blog post about it and have no idea what it is, I know what Yohimbe is but not propionyl-L-carnitine? I tried searching for information on it but got nothing useful.... A bunch of medical talk, can someone explain or break it down for me?

Do not know exactly what propionyl-L-carnitine is but in wikipedia it says that propionyl is "It is a product of alpha-ketobutyric acid, which in turn is a product of digestion of threonine and methionine." I also found this on true star health:

"It remains unclear whether the propionyl-L-carnitine form of carnitine used in congestive heart failure research has greater benefits than the L-carnitine"
