Flavio's thread about Oxytocin got the gears turning in my head. I bet that most of us here on this forum suffer from some form of stress/performance anxiety ED. I am not a typically-stressed person but I do find myself at times being overly stressed over a whole lot of nothing.
I wonder if anxiety medicine, in general, may help us? I have heard that they can cause ED in some people, but maybe for others it'll have an adverse effect? Just spitting some thoughts out. Pete |

It's a tricky question. There are lots of anxiety meds but, as far as I know, there's nothing specifically aimed at sexual performance anxiety. PDE-5 inhibitors and VIGAMED can improve your sexual performance and make you more confident, but they don't treat anxiety. The only products I've tried so far to control my nerves were trazodone and Seredyn. Trazodone was prescribed by my urologist but side effects were unbearable: fatigue, sleepiness, dizziness. Seredyn is much better and I currently take it on demand, one hour before sex. I tried oxytocin once but it made me feel weird and killed my libido.

For instances like now, I don't usually get all worked up, but I do have a date tonight and I'm extremely nervous and stressed! Have been, all day thinking about it. I don't usually get like this even when going out on a date. I'm not even going to try for sex (don't think she's that kinda girl to do it on the 1st date) but even then, sheesh.
