    Default Urotensin II

    Italian scientists from Naples University have located a specific molecule in the body called urotensin II that creates spontaneous erections in mice.

    Urotensin II is founded in the human central nervous system and when it is administered it immediately produces a release of nitric oxide which in turn makes blood vessels dilate - just like Viagra, Cialis and Levitra do.

    It's still too early to see any practical results but this is definitely good news. In the future, this may lead to the development of new ED drugs.

    This study will be published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine soon.

    urotensin II I have read about it somewhere but do not recall. great read and thanks for posting it. I would have thought the Italians are not to keen on ED but looks like they are

    Default neurosecretory system of a fish

    Did not know urotensin was found in humans. Last time I recall it was the neurosecretory system of a fish. If this creates nitirc oxide then it would be the ultimate answer for solving ED. Why is this not hitting mainstrem media for more attention, according to Wikipedia it looks like:
