Love reading articles like this. Hopefully one day there will only be on treatment that can be done in a day to solve erectile dysfunction once and for all, gene therapy. It might put medications like Levitra back in the stone age

Is this gene therapy similar to testosterone injection therapy? Love to learn news things about erectile dysfunction, but I do not like injections at all, anything that has to do with a needle

Well, you'll only have to take one injection every six months, so it's not that bad.
Maybe in the future they'll come up with a maxi-k pill. Phentolamine, a vasodilator that is injected into the penis to treat ED, is also available as a pill and it is very effective (brand name VIGAMED).

Flavio, have you ever had these injections? Do they hurt? How long is the needle? I could not imagine doing this but it might be worth it if you only have to do it every 6 months

No, I've never tried the injections. The product is still waiting FDA approval. But when it become available, I'll be one of the first to buy it - apparently, each injection will cost $400.
