Avanafil, the new PDE-5 inhibitor

Phase 3 studies of avanafil have already begun. The new ED drug is being developed by VIVUS, the same pharmaceutical company that produces MUSE. Here's a recent article on this (15 Dec 2008):

This means more options for ED sufferers, so it's great news!

It says that VIVUS is making this med, wow they are listed on Nasdaq but I have never heard of them. They should have answers by the end of 2009. I am going to ask the edguider writers to put together a sub page for Avanafil so we can keep men updated on its progress.

Great idea! And why not another section dedicated to gene therapy for erectile dysfunction?
