    John,

Are the consultations private? Or do you sit in a waiting room with a bunch of other guys who have serious ED? How exactly does iti work and what are the fees for the doctor? Does the doctor prescribe the mixture and can one purchase it at BMG or do you have to walk to the pharmacy to get it?

    Thanks

    Default Follow Up

    Hi Nachoman,

    Thanks for the question.

Let me assure you that privacy is of the utmost importance at Boston Medical Group. That said, all of our medical centers are designed with private waiting rooms for maximum comfort.

A typical consultation lasts about two hours during which the doctor will perform a diagnostic work up (using a Doppler Ultrasound and Biothesiometer) and fully review the patient’s medical history.

Treatment options can vary, but typically include prescription medications filled at an outside “compounding” pharmacy and shipped discreetly to the patient’s home or office. Some patients choose to have the prescriptions shipped to clinic to be picked up there.

The cost of the initial consultation is $195, but there may be additional costs for the treatment plan that the doctor prescribes, which include medication and any necessary follow-up visits.

Feel free to call 1-877-212-9161 if you’d like to schedule an appointment or if you have any further questions.

    -John

P.S. Sorry for the radio silence on my end the last few days -- I've been out on vacation. Camryhybrid and Magpuller, you can ask your questions here if you like and i'll get back to you ASAP.

Thanks John, we thought you had left us for a second there? My question is about the medication the doctor prescribes? I have read it needs to be cooled like insulin and expires in about 2 months? In this case how expensive is the medication once the doctor prescribes it? How much are we looking at to treat it? I need to know if it fits into my budget before I visit the clinic? Viagra juts does not work well for me anymore

    Hi Camryhybrid,

Sorry for the delay in addressing your concerns.

To speak to the question of cost, it's difficult to give you a specific price because treatment programs can vary depending on type, frequency, and dosage requirements, and our programs include much more than just medication. We take pride in addressing each condition specifically to find the right approach, rather than prescribing the same stock treatment for everyone we see (which usually don’t work as well, as it sounds like you found with Viagra). A key component of “The Boston Method” is the diagnostic work-up and the doctor’s consideration of your medical history prior to recommending a personalized treatment program. What I can tell you is that many of our treatment programs are comparable in price per application to what you'd expect to pay for Viagra and Cialis but is hardly an apples to apples comparison.

Regarding the need to refrigerate medication, some medication do require it others do not, this is something the doctor will look at when assessing the patients needs.

Our doctors and our company understand that, especially in our current economic situation, affordable options need to be available for our patients, and we do our very best to provide that.

I certainly hope that you can schedule an appointment so the doctor can address your concerns more specifically than I am able to here. I wish you the best of luck.

    -John

    Default Thanks John

John, thanks so much for that detailed response. I am surely going to visit the BMG but need to get a little extra cash together. I got huge paycuts last month and it will be hard to finance this but I will have to? It is good to hear that BMG is lowering prices due to the crisis which has affected us all

    Camryhybrid,

You're very welcome. We certainly understand the tough economic climate but don't let that deter you. We work with patients everyday who have similar concerns and we find a way to make it work.

We're here when you need us. Feel free to ask if you have any more questions.

    -John
