New Device Called Viberect by Reflexonic for Erectile Dysfunction
Men who want to treat erectile dysfunction without chemicals have so far been relegated to vacuum pumps and invasive surgery. Luckily, more options are on the way. Starting August, Americans will be able buy prescription vibrators for better erections.
The innovation comes from a company called Reflexonic, owned and run by urologists in the USA. Men can now buy their newly FDA-approved erectile dysfunction product, Viberect, is a vibrator shaped like a pair of barbecue tongs. Each of the two ends has a soft vibrating cup, which Dr. Kambiz Tajakarimi, urologist and developer of Viberect, says:
"provokes and amplifies natural human reflexes and other pathways of penile erection, rigidity, orgasm, and other sexual responses."
Works differently than Erectile Dysfunction medications! The Viberect differs from ED meds such as Viagra, Cialis, it is also different from normal vibrators as well as from vacuum pumps in that it stimulates both sides of the penis equally, hitting the maximum amount of nerves to stimulate both spinal and brain reflexes relating to sexual response. The stimulation mimics that of intense manual or vaginal stimulations and after 7-10 minutes the body responds with natural reflexes which induce and enhance erections. The device will cost about $300 once it hits the market, but potential customers may find some comfort in that it is a one-time expense and that $300 is still no more than 30 pills of Viagra in today's market. More important than cost, however, is the issue of stigma. Since the Viberect does not increase overall sexual function in the long-term, but rather works as a means to produce individual erections, it cannot be hidden from sexual partner like a stealthily popped orodispersible pill like Staxyn Levitra or long-term impotence therapy. The good news is that the Viberect device is so simple to use it can easily be done in bed, with the lights dimmed and even with a partner. The only hurdle is getting over the fact that the device looks rather medical with its tong-like shape and typical hospital colouring, white and cyan. Perhaps Reflexonic will eventually come out with a sleeker, sexier and more inspiring model? How does it work? Check out this Video:
