Erectile Dysfunction Bus in Portugal, Spain, France and Italy
Millions of men suffer from Erectile Dysfunction in Europe but few European men are willing to admit they have it. Even more so if they have to talk to another male about it, their doctor perhaps. A large percentage of these men do not like to admit they have a problem in bed and difficulty getting an erection. This is an unspoken subject amongst men.
The pharmaceutical companies are aware of this problem and are taking matters into their own hands by using an “Erection Bus” that is traveling through various European states such as Netherlands, France, Portugal, Italy and Spain. What do you mean by an Erection bus? Well, it is very similar to a small motor home or Winnebago that has a doctor’s office where men can discuss their problem and get the appropriate treatment, completely free of charge. The main goal of the bus is to get men to open up about ED and discuss it with a doctor, without having to pay for the consultation.
Is the Erection Bus getting men to discuss ED?
One of the sexologists participating on the tour mentions that the bus is getting mixed responses depending on where they are. For example, in Portugal men were lining up to hope on board but in the Netherlands they were embarrassed to step into the bus. They parked in the middle of a Dutch town square and few men are willing to get on board due to the embarrassment of other people seeing them get in, they would obviously know why they were getting in the “Erection Bus” One man said “I would never get on that bus and have all those people who are drinking coffee in the corners shops watch me”. Another man said he would rather visit his family doctor than be embarrassed by random people seeing him board that bus.

Young men also boarding the bus
Although ED is most common among middle age and older men, a young couple was also said to have boarded the bus, asking about sexual intercourse. Sexologists have said that it is common for stress , performance anxiety to affect new relationships, especially in young men.

The onboard urologist says he does not prescribe medications unless it is absolutely necessary. The first step is to provide information on erection problems and not to write prescriptions for meds such as Viagra or Cialis right away. The goal of the bus is to get men to come out and talk about erection issues, so they can learn the various options they have for treating it.
