First Stent Operation Preformed On a British Man

According to a recent article on the UK news site The Mirror, a man in the United Kingdom is the first to receive a stent operation to treat and help him solve his erectile dysfunction problems.  This operation was performed at the University of Wales. The subject was implanted with a small stent in the pelvic area arteries, which will allow better blood flow to his genitals.

A stent is a small metal tube that is placed in main arteries of a man's penis. Past studies have revealed its effectiveness to allow better blood flow into the penis. Some men do not benefit from medications such as Cialis or Levitra and the ones who undergo these types of operations are usually due to desperate measures and as a last result for trying to get an erection
