Harvard School of Medicine published a report saying just that. The report, “Sexuality in Midlife and Beyond,” now confirms what these marriage counselors have also been reporting, that although the ED medicines have improved relationships, others are suffering.

The reports reads, "When intercourse is suddenly a possibility again, relationship issues can emerge or resurface, as can dramatic differences in libido. The bottom line is that couples should try to regard these drugs as an opportunity to renew their sexual relationship, while realizing that ED drugs are neither a mandate to have intercourse nor a panacea for every problem in the bedroom."

Assistant professor at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Altman, and licensed clinical social worker and certified sex therapist Suki Hanfling both edited the 48 page report. The report outlines this and other issues including how to deal with emotional issues about sex and taking Viagra.

Couples need to work together to resolve sex issues including ED. Viagra is a tool for couples, and these couples need to understand this. In reality, it is not just for the man.
