Increased Sexual Activity Can Reduce the Risk of Heart Disease
Sex Sometimes is a Laughing Matter
Sometimes you just have to smile. Apparently sex can reveal a whole lot more than you just being horny. A recent study showed that increased sexual activity reduces the risk of heart disease. Isn’t that like saying “if you eat better, you’ll be healthier?”
Doesn’t it seem that if you exercise, you’ll be healthier? If you break it down, what is sex? Well it’s like all types of exercise combined. Cardio, muscular, aerobic, mental, the whole can of worms. So when the American journal of Cardiology recently released yet another new study that reported men whom have sex more than twice a week had almost half the risk of heart disease than men who had sex only about once a month, you just have to smile. Yup, and if you drink water you will not be thirsty.

Just the simple fact that if a man can have sex 2 or 3 times a week and he’s middle aged says more than how lucky he is, it means this guy takes good care of himself. Sex may be a barometer into a mans health, but so is a guy who can run 10 miles, or a man who can cycle 30 miles, it’s all relative.
Funny stuff aside, a problem like erectile dysfunction doesn’t mean you have or are going to have heart problems, but it very well could. Anytime your body changes, it could be more than just the simple fact that you’re aging. Always seek your doctor’s advice on all matters, and never wait until it’s too late. These possible early symptoms maybe indicators of something more serious. Talk to your doctor about everything, he cannot possibly diagnose you properly if you are not open and up front with him or her.
A low sex drive can also be brought on by other factors even in men who seem to be in good shape. Certain foods can be a libido killer just like some foods can help your libido. Excess coffee, nicotine, and frequent alcohol and drug use are huge culprits. Consult your doctor about medications you maybe taking as well. Some very popular blood pressure medications are known to have serious affects on the libido. In this case, make sure your doctor isn’t part of the problem by prescribing these to you.
Stress can be extremely detrimental to your sex drive. There are several breathing exercises out there that can help manage stress. Or it could require a life style change. Humans still are not fully up to speed on the way stress can manifest itself in you.
Broken down, better health means a better life. If you exercise regularly, eat properly, drink lots of water, then everything comes easy. More sex is easier if you’re healthy, as is exercise. So they all do go hand in hand. Unhealthy men are just the opposite, stairs, tying you’re shoes, and sex is very strenuous. If you are thinking of turning yourself into a healthy man, it doesn’t mean you can just jump into the sack and just start romping the wife like you are 19 again. You need to start slowly and build up the capacity to do more.
Wouldn’t it be nice to be in the category of the men who have sex 2 or more times a week when you in your fifties. Maybe then the midlife crisis would be easier too, and cheaper than having the need to go out and buy a Corvette.
