According to a recent news article published on Topnews Viagra will be available for purchase from pharmacists directly from the UK’s biggest pharmacy chain Boots. A successful test program was launched in England which allowed men to get their Viagra prescriptions directly from a pharmacist instead of visiting their doctor, but their is still the condition that they have to be registered with a doctor in the UK and their doctors need to be informed about it.

So why was this program launched?
Allot of men find it very hard and embarrassing to talk to their doctor about having erectile dysfunction and this will open the doors to more men who have this issues. Being able to buy viagra from a pharmacist directly, but it does come with a cost.

So how much does it cost and how does it work?
This service is going to be available in about 30 stores through out England and will cost roughly 100 bucks US and you will have access to a private consultation rooms were you can get a 30 minute consultation with a pharmacist explaining why you have ED and based on this the pharmacist can give you a prescription treatment plan. They will check medical history, conduct blood test and check any serious health conditions.

The pharmacy “Boots” says their is a huge demand for Impotence treatment such as Viagra and Cialis. About 1 in every 10 uk men have ED but only a fraction of them seek treatment for it and according to Boots almost 50% of men would rather prefer to talk about it in silence. The pharmacist at Boots also say they will be alert of any signs for the men they treat, impotence can lead to more serious health conditions that men are not aware of.
