No vision loss for ED drugs such as Cialis
Based on an article posted on WebMd using erectile dysfunction medications such as Cialis or Viagra for approximately 6 months should not lead to vision loss. There has been allot of discussion about ED medications like Cialis causing vision loss as a side effect of this med with regular use. The study that was conducted does not show a higher risk of vision loss or eyesight complications for men who took Cialis and Viagra every day for about 6 months.
The concerns of taking ED drugs such as Cialis and Viagra rose because the effects of PDE-5 inhibitors act as similar compounds in the retina which is the part of the eye that helps use see images. Another complaint from men who have taken Cialis and Viagra are blurry vision, blueish eyesight and sensitive perception when looking into lights. This study was conducted on over 240 men who where given Viagra 50mg, Cialis or a placebo for 6 months.
Before the study began and when it was concluded the men all had eye exams and the results did not show any significant difference between the men who took the Cialis and Viagra and the ones who took the placebo.
