This has been all over the news today, and we just read about it on bbc. The US is using Viagra in exchange for information from warlords in Afghanistan. The articles says that in one of the cases an man in his 60′s was given a few pills of Viagra and a few days after came back to US officials for more but in exchange for information about the Taliban. The US has used many things to try to get information from men like this with offers of medicine, visas, gifts etc but now Viagra for men, that’s a new one.

Allot of these warlords and men in Afghanistan are known to have several wife’s and allot of their women are much younger than them so to keep up Viagra must help them allot. It is not that well known in Afghanistan so it seems that after trying Viagra these men are desperate for more to empress the many wives they have so they exchange information on where the Taliban is going to US officials to obtain more Viagra pills. In the one case we mentioned above this man did not cooperate in the past but once the officials explained the Viagra to him and how to use it he returned a few days later with the information. So the US is getting creative in handing out Viagra instead of giving the men money. What is your take on this, let us know in the comments section.
