American Idol Judge said no to Viagra
Guess which American Idol judge turned down a 1.5 million dollar offer to be a spokesperson for Viagra? Not it’s not Paula or Randy but yes correct Simon. According to a news report Simon was offered to help promote Viagra but he turned them down. His agent told him that people from Viagra contacted him offering huge amounts of money for basically being the face of Viagra. Simon did not want to be associated with Erectile Dysfunction and considered it as an insult and was afraid of being known as the face of Impotence.
Simon Cowell is one of the few men who can turn down an offer like this, the amount of money they were offering him is nothing compared to what he makes hosting shows like Britain’s got talent and American idol. Now Randy might of took then up on the deal but Simon is to proud to associate himself with Viagra or erectile dysfunction in general. This guy has loads of money and has enough celebrity status as it is, Viagra would probably have given him a different reputation that the bad boy “I do not like you” type of personalty he has. Do you think he should have taken the offer?
